MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — The national bookseller Half Price Books will open a store Thursday in Meridian with a chance to win a $500 gift card.
Half Price Books, the nation's largest family-owned new and used bookstore chain, is opening the new store at 3677 E. Fairview Ave. It is the first Half Price Books in Idaho.
The store says the $500 Half Price Books Gift Card "is enough to buy books for an entire year!"
Idaho residents 18 years or older can enter in a chance to win online or at the store by Monday, Nov. 30.
“We’ve wanted to open a store in this area for quite some time, so we’re thrilled to finally do so at Meridian Crossroads,” said Kathy Doyle Thomas, executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Half Price Books. “We know there are so many booklovers in the greater Boise area and we look forward to being a part of this community for years to come.”
The store buys and sells new and used books, magazines, comics, records, cassettes, videos, CDs, DVDs and collectible items. Dallas-based Half Price Books has 126 stores in 19 states.
