Paige Bueckers is on track to be the biggest name in women’s college basketball in 2024.
With Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese now playing in the pros, Bueckers – and maybe Hailey Van Lith – are the two most high-profile stars remaining at the collegiate level.
That said, with college basketball currently on hiatus – Bueckers has a lot of free time on her hands. In recent weeks she obviously found herself trending online over her explicit private photo leak, but she doesn’t appear to have let that get her down.
This week Bueckers attended a WNBA game and caused something of a stir with her controversial shirt.

“Everyone watches women’s sports,” the shirt read.
Reactions to Bueckers’ shirt were roughly what one would expect given the current state of affairs on the internet.
Nobody, but nobody, cares!!

Paige Bueckers you are awesome. You caught one of the shirts and gave it to a little child, absolutely making his day. You signed autographs and posed for pictures. When told everyone they needed to get off the stairs. You went upstairs with them. Thanks for the joy you brought.

Big picture, Bueckers is clearly welcoming the notion of being the face of women’s college basketball.
Many would shy away from the spotlight, but Bueckers never has and likely never will.
What will Bueckers ultimately go viral for next? Time will tell.
