Assassination attempts against US Presidents and candidates are a part of the country’s history. Four Presidents, including John F Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln, were assassinated in the past. The last time this happened, President Ronald Reagan was shot and survived the attempt in 1981. Nonetheless, the outpouring of support and acclaim for Trump following the incident demonstrates his impact.
