Nassourdine Imavov faced Roman Dolidze in a middleweight clash at UFC Vegas 85. Heated and hilarious moments excited fans more than the fights. While Imavov dominated the fight, he threw an illegal kick to Dolidze in round four. As such, referee Herb Dean paused the action for a while. Amidst the break, Imavov and Dolidze’s teammate Chris Curtis were involved in a heated verbal altercation.

UFC middleweight Chris Curtis joined his teammate Roman Dolidze as a cornerman for this fight. As such, when Nassourdine Imavov hit Roman Dolidze with an illegal kick, he got agitated and let out words. Hearing these, Imavov charged towards Dolidze’s corner to attack Curtis. However, referee Herb Dean separated Imavov and warned him of disqualification. As such, he pushed the French fighter to his corner and advised him not to look at Dolidze’s corner. Further, he deducted a point for the illegal kick.

This heated exchange caused drama inside the octagon. The fight continued after Roman Dolidze recovered from the illegal hit. However, the bad blood between Nassourdine Imavov and Chris Curtis didn’t end there. Soon after the fight finished, Imavov and Curtis traded middle fighters. A part of their beef stemmed from their face-off earlier at UFC 289. Their matchup was called a ‘no-contest’ after an accidental clash of heads.

Although Herb Dean deducted a point from Nassourdine Imavov in the fourth round, he managed to clinch the victory. After going the full distance, Imovov won on the judges’ scorecards via Majority decision.

UFC Vegas 85 featured Nassourdine Imavov vs. Roman Dolidze in the main event. During the fourth round, Imavov struck Dolidze with an illegal kick to the head when he was grounded. Soon, Chris Curtis, who was in Dolidze’s corner, and Imavov got into a verbal altercation. Now, Curtis took to X to trash Imavov. Chris Curtis always makes sure to fire back at his opponents or haters.

The bad blood between Chris Curtis and Nassourdine Imavov started last year when they met inside the octagon in UFC 289. After an unintentional head clash, their fight ended in an unfortunate ‘no-contest.’ As such, they didn’t seem to put this beef behind. Since then, Curtis and Imavov have both won their next fights. So, with wins and history between them, the UFC might book a rematch.
